We welcome from absolute beginners to come and join our fun, intro to salsa beginner course where we will teach you how to have fun on the salsa dancefloor, meet awesome people, gain confidence and look great too. Our classes are 1 hour in duration, offering the ultimate in comprehensive salsa tuition by our professional and awesome instructors, ensuring a great time, learning at your own pace, step by step and easy to follow classes and will have you dancing salsa in no time, and loving it.

In order to make our courses accessible, we have setup classes at venues in various suburbs in Cape Town that allow for you to attend at one or more venues that suit your needs, location and requitements. Our schedule is as follows:
Mondays 7pm - Cape Town
Tuesdays 7pm - Tygervalley
Wednesdays 7pm - Blaauwberg
Thursdays 7pm - Rondebosch

Get ready for the best hour of your week as you are about to dive into an amazing hobby that brings alot of fun and so much more. Here is what you can expect when signing up for the 8 week beginner salsa course...
Exciting and Fun
Trying new things is always going to be a bit scary, exciting and more but mostly its going to be so much fun. Our friendly, fun and amazing dance instructors will welcome you, make you feel comfortable and guide you every step of the way of your new dance journey with us.

Social and a new learning experience
Get ready to meet new people and possibly make new friends too. This new learning experience is something that you can enjoy by yourself, with your partner, to meet someone new and to make some new friends.

Your first class & salsa class format
Always best to try and arrive 5-10 minutes before the class starts in order to get cumfy and start on the right foot. This also gives you a chance to meet everyone and also have a word with the instructor should you wish to ask any questions etc. The class will get started with a fun and information introduction to salsa along with the start of your beginner salsa steps that will be tons of fun while getting in some good exercise too.
The classes are broken up into techniques, information, theory, understanding, musicality, execution, correction and tons of fun practice with and without music. You are welcome to, at any time, ask questions and ask for assistance should you need additional help. After the class you will have drilled the salsa basics and learned some awesome techniques in a fun practice pattern that you can then take home to practice too. At the end of every session you will also get a chance to video the moves, techniques and pattern to review at home.

Do I need a partner?
No, no partners are needed to join our classes, courses or events.

What should I wear to my first class?
Cumfort if key! Don't worry about dressing up for your first class, rather ensure that you are comfortable with shoes that you are able to dance in and can balance in. Once you are into the swing of things you can then look at upping your wardrobe and dancing in your favourite heels or look at getting a pair of salsa dance shoes.
